International Year of Salmon Synthesis Symposium

It was great to speak at the International Year of Salmon Synthesis Symposium, which brought together over 200 partners from government, NGOs, private industry and Indigenous organizations. Wild salmon are an iconic species in B.C., but they are vulnerable to change in our climate. Investing in our environment is one of the most important things we can do to create healthier watersheds for species like salmon. Our Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy includes support for key actions to help protect wild salmon populations.
